Zac Brown Band stole the show
Vince Staples was so disgusting, even friends who had pit tickets left after two songs because they were so into him. The sound in the GA Dome was muddled, and I could hardly ever understand the words he was singing - much louder than for ZBB. The techs got it pretty good with Zac Brown Band, but everyone else was pretty awful sounding, including Vince Staples.
Zac Brown Band played with passion and interest in the music, rather than just themselves. They really pulled it off well and got the crowd into it too. Zac Brown was pumped to be playing in front of such a huge hometown crowd - his smile was a mile wide at one point. They really mixed it up too, with covers of REM and Metallica as well as sections from several other artists' songs - all while playing a lot of their own too. And their musical talent is so much better than Vince Staples anyway.
My second time seeing ZBB. I know you go to hear their songs, not others', but I had to wonder if Vince Staples's guitar was even turned on...
